Our Sourcing Policy

Beautiful jewellery should be made responsibly — from the very first step. At Meri Jaan, we're careful about who we work with, and we hold every supplier in our network to a high standard. Here's how we source.

How we choose our suppliers

Before we work with any supplier, they must meet our standards across three areas:

• Proven reputation. We only partner with established, reputable suppliers who maintain over 98% positive customer reviews, backed by strong customer service and fair, transparent terms of business.
• Ethical labour. Our suppliers must demonstrate fair employment and fair labour practices — treating their workers correctly, safely, and with respect. We do not work with anyone who cannot meet this standard.
• Responsible materials. We ensure our suppliers do not use hazardous materials and do not source from conflict zones. We also expect them to keep their environmental footprint as light as possible.

Ongoing review

Meeting our standards once isn't enough — suppliers have to keep meeting them. We work with a carefully selected network of around 10–15 suppliers, which we review every month. Each supplier is measured against a performance scorecard covering quality, ethics, reliability, and service, and any supplier that falls short is addressed or removed from our network.

Our materials

Every Meri Jaan piece is crafted in 925 sterling silver and set with lab-grown moissanite — created without mining, for a lighter footprint and the same breathtaking sparkle. Each stone is GRA-certified moissanite, so you always know exactly what you're wearing.
